Denver Nuggets Ranked #6 = New Nuggets Gear for Homegirl

This week I'm celebrating the Nuggets move to the #6 spot on the power rankings by investing in this little ditty that I've been waiting to splurge on for the last month or two. Yes, it's a hundred bucks, but I'm loving the design, the full zip, the sleeves...it's sleek and chic and sporty, all at the same time. Obviously I needed it, I just needed to find the right reason to buy it. And nothing sounds better than a potential playoff spot!

Growing up, my parents were huge gardeners. As in, award winning gardens, house tours, the whole shebang. And you know that if my parents were super into gardening,that meant that I was out there helping. all.summer.long. So this created this big...love...I guess you could say, on my part for a great garden. But since I also have a huge love for the Nuggets, I'm always looking for new little ways to integrate my Denver Nuggets love into my gardens. And I think I found a perfect new addition with this little Denver Nuggets Garden Gnome! Isn't he cute? Way cuter than the Travelocity gnome, anyway...right? Love it.

Denver Nuggets Schedule + Nuggets gear for the kiddos

The Denver Nuggets schedule may have left your head spinning this week. That's because we've got not one, not two, but THREE games this week at home. Sprinkle in some Colorado Avalanche games on the off days and a big Monster Jam rally and you have the makings for a VERY full Pepsi Center schedule! What this means for you: All of the games are during the week, so if you don't have plans it's a great time to fit in some  professional basketball. Oh - and I couldn't resist nabbing a pair of these adorable little Nuggets sweatpants for my neice. Love the yellow and blue, and they just look so flippin comfy. And it doesn't hurt that they're on clearance for 23 bucks, either!

Denver Nuggets Toast. But Not Really.

So I'm not all up for discussing the Nuggets loss to the Clippers yesterday...although they were on a six game winning streak, so not all is bad with one loss, right? We're still second in the Northwest, although it's going to take a lot of hard wins to catch up to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They're on a roll, man. So anyway, since we're NOT talking about the Nuggets loss last night, let's talk about some new Nuggets gear. They DID win six games in a row after all. Did I mention that? ;)

So I may or may not have splurged on this little Nuggets ProToast Toaster. Well, splurged would have been the wrong word - it was only six bucks after all! But it actually toasts the Denver Nuggets logo onto your...toast...Nuggets for breakfast. The NEW breakfast of champions, right? Loves it.

Losing Carmelo Anthony was the Best Thing That Happened to the Denver Nuggets

Yes, we all loved and adored Carmelo Anthony before he was traded to the New York Knicks. But it looks like we might have gotten the better end of the stick with this deal. Why, you ask? Well, for one, our record is much better than the Knicks. We're running a 29-12 record, the Knicks are sitting at 20-24. Second, Anthony's greed led him to want way more money than he was worth. And the Knicks were so worried that they weren't going to land him that they offered WAY more than he was worth. They gave up prime depth and dough to nab this guy that hasn't necessarily been underperforming, but definitely isn't playing at superstar levels. Third, we're about to nail a flawless road series, guys. And if that's not speaking to the direction of this team, I don't know what is.

Loving the Nuggets is not an easy job. Sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down. They make the playoffs one year, they're terrible the next year. And an NBA Lockout tends not to help things at all. But through it all - the ups, downs, neutrals, whatever - I stay totally devoted to you the Nuggets.
